Additional Information Instructor Assistance Hours | Tutoring Assistance Hours
Computer lab hours are found on the CSM web site at: Log on to computers in the Computer Lab: User Name: first initial of first name + last name + last 2 digits of student I.D. Initial Password: first initial of first name and last name + home zip code.
Times Instructor MAY BE Available for additional assistance. There are four compute labs. Lab 217 and Lab 236 are where we meet on Saturday for class. Those are the classroom computer labs. Often there is a class in those labs. If there is a class in those labs, we will meet in the General use lab, Lab 218, which is across the hall from lab 217, or in a small lab, Lab 215, which is down the hall from Lab 217. However, the tutoring assistance from the Learning Support Center is in the Hixson-Lied Commons. Students from either class may attend sessions with either instructor. HOWEVER, you must let the instructor know 24 hours in advance that YOU WILL BE THERE. Instructor will NOT be at lab time, if there are no students who are going to attend. The Learning Support
Center is located in the Achievement Center in the Hixson-Lied Commons.
Hours for the Learning Support Center are: Mon 10-8 Tues, Wed, Thurs 9-5 Fri 9-3 Students are available to help tutor other students with assignments. It is a drop-in center for tutoring, so no appointments is needed. However, you may want to call ahead and make sure someone will be there who can help you. This semester there are three students from the College of Education who are there to assist education majors at CSM. All three of these students have taken this course so they are familiar with the assignments. Here is the list of EDU majors that tutor and the days/times each works:
