Reflection is planning for the future.

The purpose of the portfolio is to demonstrate that you are growing as a teacher and scholar.

At the beginning of each section of your portfolio make a cell and write a paragraph on activities, lessons and experiences that reflects on your learning and demonstrates your progress toward becoming a teacher.

Reflections should reveal:

• what you learned
• in the case of lesson plans
  • what went well
  • what did not go well
  • what the children did or did not learn
  • what you would do differently the next time to teach the lesson
• a comparison of current with previous understandings or competence
