Thursday, May
11 is talent day. It will be held at 1:00 in the gymnasium. Be sure to sign
up in the front office if you have not yet.
Each Friday in
the month of may will be reading appreciation day. Each child can bring a
favorite book to share with the class.
We are starting
our last math chapter and the children are excited to learn multiplication
and division. We also will be reviewing all cursive letters.
May 21 will be
My Pet Day. It will be held at 1:00 on the playground. Parents may bring the
pets at this time. They must be leashed or in a cage.
I could still
use a couple of helpers for our field trip to the zoo. I need to know by
Wednesday if you can help.
Fund Raising Update
Congratulations students on a job
well done! Your fund raising efforts have earned our school 2 new Dell
computers which we will receive by the end of this week. As a reward we will
be having a party this Friday to be held in Mrs. Baker's room 201. You may
bring juice or soda to drink and a snack.
