My Reflection

    What an great opportunity to go to such a fantastic conference! Dr Silverman gave the opening keynote. She was truly amazing, and funny when she spoke. I really liked her story, about her first day, and how her note saved a students life. I will definitely do that if I teach someday!

    After the keynote speaker, I went to a session with the kids contest winners. I could not believe what these kids could do with computers!! I was blown away. This second grader- did a hyper studio on embryology!! He even had digital video in his presentation. I was also impressed with a high school senior who mad an actual movie!!

    The next session we went to is little hands on the keyboard.

    I was very excited about the WEBQUEST presentation. Due to the server being down the UNL students were unable to present!

    I went to the VENDORS which was neat to look at all the new things in technology, and get free stuff! I really liked the CLICKER program. You use a remote to answer questions, compete with other students, and you can have actual print outs of what ones you missed.

    I cant wait till next year!!!
